Singapore / Australia, [July 18] — The APAC Society for Cellular Agriculture (APAC-SCA) and Cellular Agriculture Australia (CAA) are proud to announce the signing of a Strategic Collaboration Agreement that marks a significant step forward in fostering international cooperation to advance the cellular agriculture sector across the Asia-Pacific region.
The agreement underscores a shared commitment to building a future-forward, sustainable food system through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and coordinated public engagement. By working together, both organisations aim to accelerate progress in regulatory alignment, trust-building, and science-based policymaking that supports the responsible development of cellular agriculture.
“Cross-border collaboration is essential to building a thriving and trusted ecosystem for cellular agriculture,” (Peter Yu, Program Director APAC-SCA). “Through this partnership, we’re bringing together our regional strengths to drive transparency, coordinate regulatory efforts, and engage the public in meaningful ways.”
Key areas of cooperation under this non-binding agreement include:
· Policy and Regulatory Exchange: Sharing timely insights and best practices on evolving regulatory landscapes.
· Joint Publications and Policy Engagement: Co-authoring thought leadership pieces, white papers, and policy briefs to promote evidence-based regulation.
· Public Trust and Engagement: Coordinating or amplifying initiatives that foster public confidence in cellular agriculture technologies and products.
· Program Development and Knowledge Sharing: Exploring and launching joint initiatives that contribute to sectoral growth and innovation.
This strategic collaboration reflects a broader movement within the cellular agriculture community—one that values openness, alignment, and regional dialogue as key ingredients for sustainable progress.
